Salary: $9.60 – $10.19 per hour, 8 hours a day, includes full benefit package
· Two (2) years’ experience working with young children or as a child care provider
· Eighteen years of age, with a high school diploma or G.E.D.
· College coursework in Child Development preferred.
· Must complete CPR and First Aid Training within 30 days of employment

· Provides for the safety and welfare of children while parents attend “on-site” meetings and trainings (i.e., STEP Program, Perinatal Program, drop-in care as needed for children while parents are meeting with their caseworkers).
· Provides age appropriate activities for children in their care.
· Collaborates with other child care providers to ensure adult child ratios at all times.
· Assists parents with enrollment forms and emergency contact information.
· Encourages all parents to return to the childcare center to have lunch with their child(ren) daily.
· Purchases, prepares and serves children’s meals and snacks.
· Maintains confidentiality of all child and family information.
Work Year: Position is for 260 days and runs July - June. Position to begin immediately.
